The MOLA Fashion Week (UMFW), the only sustainable and Latin American fashion week, returns for its fourth edition with a renewed proposal. In 2025, this event will take place from April 7 to 11 at EAN University in Bogotá, Colombia. Under the theme "Casa MOLA", the foundation aims to be a meeting point to promote talent and sustainability in fashion, creating new business opportunities and collaborations within the industry.
In its upcoming edition, Universo MOLA will count on significant allies such as SENA, FENALCO, the Chamber of Fashion, the Arturo Tejada Cano School, the Guatemala Fashion Week, among others, who join forces to consolidate sustainable fashion in Latin America. This event stands out for offering a diverse program that includes runway shows, conferences, exhibitions, and interactive activities, such as the MOLA Fashion Talks, where experts will discuss issues and solutions for regenerative fashion.
Through 28 participating brands from 8 Latin American countries, UMFW celebrates the richness and diversity of sustainable fashion. The brands will showcase their creations in spaces like the Gallery and the Fiber Exhibition, highlighting innovative and sustainable textile materials. Additionally, Fashion Films will be presented, along with practical workshops open to the public, such as garment repair and traditional weaving.
The event will be co-hosted by the Laverde Foundation and EAN University, institutions committed to social, economic, and environmental regeneration in Colombia. Throughout the five-day event, a variety of activities will take place, including business opportunity rounds to connect brands and companies. The program will feature talks on crucial topics such as circular fashion, social and cultural impact, and industry inclusion.
The event will culminate with a closing gala, the MOLA Red Carpet, where outstanding participants will be recognized. Additionally, attendees will enjoy runway shows from emerging and established brands, such as Aymara (Argentina), Zamia (Colombia), and FK Textil (Uruguay).
This year's fashion campaign concept, "Future Nostalgia", reflects a vision of the future where technology and sustainability coexist harmoniously, blending the organic with the digital. This concept is not only a tribute to the fashion of the future but also a call to action to regenerate the fashion system in Latin America.
Universo MOLA Fashion Week 2025 is shaping up to be an event of international significance, serving as a space for innovation, reflection, and, above all, action toward a more sustainable future for fashion in our region.
