Mola Fashion Day Chile, organized by the program Universo MOLA of the Entre Soles y Lunas Foundation, was successfully held on the 3rd and 4th of April, at AIEP Professional Institute of the Andrés Bello University in Valparaíso, Quinta Región. This event, focused on the sustainable development, had the crucial support of EMPREDIEM and CORFO (Corporación de Fomento de la Producción). Attracting visionary leaders and entrepreneurs from the Latin-American fashion world.
The opening began with a networking space facilitated by EMPREDIEM, giving participants the opportunity to establish professional connections. Afterwards, Valentina LagosEMPREDIEM's impact managing partner, together with Valentina Suárezdirector of the Universo MOLA program; Doris Helena Rojas, director of the Entre Soles y Lunas Foundation; Sebastián Rodriguez, general manager of Emprediem; Felipe Melladodeputy regional director of CORFO Valparaíso; and Pedro Palmahead of the School of Design, Art and Communication at AIEP Valparaíso, gave a welcoming speech.
During the training days, the panel with the participation of designers from renowned brands such as Macarena Cortés, Huaman Autor and Ananda Román, who inspired the attendees with their innovative and sustainable vision in the field of fashion, also stood out. In addition, there was an extremely interesting talk by the Instituto Europeo di Design on Communication and Marketing for Circular Fashion, led by Gabriela Pedrantti from IED Barcelona.
On the other hand, Valentina Suárez imparted tools and strategies to drive Latin American brands towards sustainability through an enriching talk on Impact Fashion Business and a "Pitch on Impact Fashion". Among the highlights, Doris Helena Rojas addressed the important topic of environmental regeneration, followed by a workshop designed to support participants. The deliberations then continued, culminating in the awarding of full and partial scholarships for MOLA Fashion Week Universe 2025.
It is important to recognize the participating entrepreneurs, among which are: Mane Bulat Store, Mak Mencanta, Prisma C, Cav Sustentables, Munlaf Kids, Fundación Nonos, Domokal, Revuelta, Mei Lang Loo, Ataraxia Knit, Illa Textil and AmamantasThe MFD in Chile marks a milestone in the search for a more sustainable future for fashion, where innovation and social commitment come together to drive significant change in the industry.
The brands that won half a scholarship during the event were Domokol, Cav Sustentable, Ataraxia, Mak Mencanta, Mane Bulat Store, Amamantas, Illa Textil, Munlaf Kids. In addition, Mei Lang was recognized as the winner of the full scholarship for Chile and Revuelta with a special mention of 60% scholarship.
Finally, in a moment of sharing stories during the training, Gloria, one of the participants, expressed: "I feel that as an agent of sustainable change I can reach other people through clothing."

Mei-Lang Loo, winner of the full scholarship to participate in Universe Mola Fashion Week 2025, expressed: "I am very happy to have participated in this double day of Mola Fashion Day training. They were two very intense and complete days, truly a "Great contribution to my brand. I'm very happy because I won the full scholarship, so I'm also very excited about the value they give to my brand."
Maite Tobar, from the Revuelta brand, shared her gratitude: "I am very grateful for the opportunity to participate in this training in a sustainable way thanks to the scholarship awarded by Universe Mola. I am very happy and pleased with all the information and learnings from these two days. I recommend following them on their websites since it is very important to inform ourselves about these issues in the fashion industry."
Finally, ending the day, Valentina Suarez highlights the positive balance of the MFD Chile training: "We finished two and a half really good days. I am very happy to see these wonderful projects that are driving change and being regenerative. In addition, people came from throughout Chile, i.e., from the north to Atacama. We are very happy to continue generating this impact and they are amazed and with many tasks to continue advancing in the process of sustainability of their business models. Now we continue to Argentina to carry out the same process and rescue all those talents from the Latin American sustainable fashion industry."
