Sustainability in fashion is a reality in the Latin American context, and this year, Universo Mola Fashion Week will be the perfect stage to showcase innovative proposals that are changing the landscape of the industry. From Uruguay to Colombia, brands committed to the environment, culture, and upcycling will come together to offer unique pieces that not only follow the latest trends but also promote care for the planet.

One of the standout participants is VALEZERO, founded by Uruguayan Agustina Comas, a stylist and industrial textile designer. Comas is a pioneer in implementing industrial upcycling in Brazilian fashion and has developed the Comas Method, an innovative process that create garments from materials considered “waste.” Her brand, which has gained international recognition, promotes reuse and conscious design, ensuring that each piece contributes to sustainability.

From Colombia comes XZAE.DESIGN, a brand that invites deep reflection about connection with nature. With pieces full of meaning and natural aesthetics, XZAE.DESIGN seeks to transform the relationship between people and the environment that surrounds them.

ROMANUS.DESIGN, another brand featured in the event, continues the commitment of creating designs that combine innovation and respect for nature. Each garment is a unique piece, guaranteeing not only quality but also a positive impact on the world.

ARES.TERRA, with its Zenú Shirt and Guajiro Pants, stands out for its conscious design practices. Focused on reducing water consumption during production, its garments are not only elegant and functional but also reflect a deep respect for the Earth.

On the other hand, THEARZAYUS remains an example of how fashion can be synonymous with social and environmental responsibility. From Guatemala, this brand transforms used textiles into new clothing pieces, blending creativity with environmental awareness.

Now talking about ELIPA.BEAUTHENTIC, each collection tells stories that emotionally connect with the consumer, taking fashion beyond clothing and turning each piece into a testimony of authenticity and environmental awareness. The event will be just the beginning of a series of initiatives that are looking to transform the fashion industry.

Finally, PAYCHA VALDIVIA joins the event with an exclusive proposal: reversible and sustainable garments that merge style, innovation, and recycled and biodegradable materials. “Double Impact” is a design created not only for people but also for the planet—a clear example of how fashion can revolutionize wardrobes and minimize the ecological footprint.

This event is not just a fashion runway; it's an opportunity to reimagine the future of the textile industry, where every design choice becomes a commitment to the planet and future generations.
