On October 8 the Universidad de Belgranoin the city of Buenos Aires, hold the second edition of Diseñando Conciencia, an innovative project that links the participation of different sectors: University, companies, NGOs, governments and the community in general, promoting sustainability through reusable discarded materials in design projects and growing social and environmental commitment in students.

The event was supported by the Ministerio de Desarrollo Económico y la Dirección General de Industrias Creativas, Audiovisuales y Software (BA Creativa). Attendees were dazzled by the exhibitions of the Interior Design and Clothing Design students. Among the main exhibits, the presentation of "Núcleo Consciente" by Mónica Casella, a mural made by Andrea de Navarrete in joint action with ASAC, using 10,000 recycled Nespresso coffee capsules, stands out. The Social Project of the Clothing Design Race also played a prominent role, with the delivery of backpacks for the Laflia Foundation made with textile donated by the FUNYl brand and necessaries for the Multipolar Foundation.

Among the panelists, there were representatives of various NGOs, such as the Fundación Media Pila, ASAC (Asociación Ayuda al Ciego), Fundación Multipolar and Somos Diversity, who shared their experiences and fostered an enriching dialogue on the social impact of design. Journalist Andrea Méndez Brandam moderated the panels, which addressed relevant issues on sustainability and social commitment.

This event concluded with a fashion show, where students and teachers of the Clothing Design career presented their creations together with models of the Somos Diversity Agency, thus celebrating inclusion and diversity in the world of fashion.
