The outstanding Argentine brand García Bello, part of the MOLA Hub, has received important recognition both nationally and internationally thanks to its most recent design project, which has been selected in the prestigious DAE 2024 Design Competition. This contest, organized by Diseño Argentino Exponencial (DAE), stands as a strengthening program for entrepreneurs in the design sector, with the support of the Fundación Bunge y Born and the British Council.
This achievement was reached among more than 240 participants from different regions of Argentina, where García Bello's project stood out for its innovation, creativity and strong commitment to social and environmental responsibility. The competition aimed to highlight creative and disruptive proposals in the field of design, as well as to promote technological inclusion to enrich production.
Likewise, it is worth highlighting the contribution of personalities such as Florencia Lovera and Wustavo Quiroga, who played a crucial role in the co-management and curatorship in Argentina, as well as the STEAMhouse team for its contribution to the British curatorship.
This recognition, supported by renowned authorities, drives the Argentine firm to continue moving towards a more innovative and sustainable future, demonstrating excellence not only in Argentine design but also beyond national borders.
It is important to note that in 2020, Argentine designer Juliana García Bello was chosen as the winner of the Redress Design Award in Hong Kong, one of the most prominent sustainable fashion design competitions in the world. This prestigious recognition further highlights her excellence and commitment to responsible and sustainable design at an international level.
