Universo MOLA Fashion Week is preparing a unique event that explores the intersection of fashion, sustainability, and technological innovation. Under the concept of «Nostalgia for the future», this edition presents a proposal inspired by the vision of today’s childhood—merging the technological with the organic, the urban with the rural, and the traditional with the experimental. Using AI, we will create clothes that reflect this duality: biodegradable fabrics with digital patterns, interactive pieces that change color, and hybrid forms that combine different styles and eras. The fashion of the future will be a space for play, identity, and sustainability, seen through the eyes of those who will inhabit it.
The future imagined by today’s children is a reflection of their dreams, concerns, and hopes. They display a world with deeper connections between people and nature, where technology advances without forgetting the importance of sustainability and respect for animals. They dream of futuristic cities filled with science, but also of rural landscapes where people grow their own food. They want a clean planet, free from pollution and wars, where coexistence is peaceful and all living beings coexist in harmony.
In past editions, participated over 5,000 attendees in three days, while previously were reached more than 5 million people through digital and television media. Reaching more than 20,000 social media accounts, 200,000 impressions with the participation of more than 50 fashion companies from countries such as Uruguay, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Italy, Spain, Mexico, the United States, and Paraguay.
This year’s event will showcase several brands that are changing the sustainable fashion landscape, including Arzayús, a Guatemalan brand that transform recycled clothes into unique pieces with a touch of urban style ; Alma dos Mares, from Panama, which uses recycled fish scales to create luxury jewelry. Also, Florencia Khino from Uruguay will bring their ancestral weaving techniques. Meanwhile Naturaliza, from Chile will demonstrate how recycled textiles can be turned into versatile and sustainable clothes.
Other brands such Revuelta (Chile) and Valezero (Brazil), continue challenging fashion norms through upcycling techniques, using discarded materials to create high-quality, uniquely designed pieces. In the accessories sector, Zamia Galería from Colombia combines artisanal jewelry with technology, while Persika Sostenible use recycled peach powder to create pieces of fashion with a story of transformation and environmental consciousness.
Universo MOLA Fashion Week is not just a runway, it’s a space for change. An event where innovation, fashion, and environmental awareness come together to imagine a cleaner and equitable future, while at the same time is celebrate the creativity and cultural diversity of Latin America. Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of this event that is reshaping how we think about fashion!
