On April 10, a new edition of MOLA Fashion Day was held in Argentina, with the <\/span>Universidad del Belgrano<\/span><\/a> in Buenos Aires as the main venue. Organized by Universo MOLA, a program of the Entre Soles y Lunas Foundation, this educational event offered an unprecedented opportunity for entrepreneurs and sustainable fashion enthusiasts in the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

From the creation of business models to communication strategies <\/span>, the MFD focused on providing important business tools to promote socio-environmental responsibility throughout the Latin American region.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the event, <\/span>Valentina Suarez<\/span><\/a>, director of the Universo MOLA program, in her talk on Impact Fashion Business, reiterated the commitment to support entrepreneurs on their journey to success in the fashion industry and encouraged participants to empower their projects to achieve their short and long-term goals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Doris Helena Rojas<\/span><\/a>, director of the Entre Soles y Lunas Foundation, emphasized the importance of regeneration in the fashion industry and highlighted the need to prioritize sustainability and positive environmental impact at every step of the design and production process.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fedra Mauricci, Communication and Sustainability Consultant at <\/span>Back in Fashion<\/span><\/a>, shared reflections on the positive impact that the growth of one's own project can have. Fedra emphasized the need to understand the consumer and adapt to their constantly evolving needs in order to achieve success.<\/span><\/p>\n

Karina Fleider<\/span><\/a>, coordinator of apparel design at UB, expressed her enthusiasm and admiration for the efforts of all the entrepreneurs present. She emphasized the importance of perseverance and passion on the road to entrepreneurial success, stressing the need to keep going even when obstacles arise.<\/span><\/p>\n

These reflections highlight the commitment and passion of fashion professionals to create a positive impact in the industry, prioritizing sustainability throughout the value chain.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to the event, scholarship opportunities were offered, including a 90% scholarship with double certification granted by the Entre Soles y Lunas Foundation and the Istituto Europeo di Design. In addition, there was the possibility of accessing a half scholarship to participate in Universo MOLA Fashion Week 25, and some projects were able to obtain a full scholarship specifically for Argentina.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to one of the participants of the event, the designer Naty Orozco, expressed: \u201cI came to this MFD again to learn, to redesign my business model, and also to stay updated and generate contacts with all the people who are here participating, to be able to participate again in MOLA Fashion Week 2025.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

After all the training offered to the participants during the event, they delivered their final projects. Then, the scholarships were awarded. Among those awarded half scholarships are <\/span>Vera Sangiacomo<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Celuc Indumentaria<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Juana Vananna<\/span><\/a>,<\/span> Ikigai<\/span><\/a>, Madelaire, <\/span>Alkimia Textil<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Pakcha<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Reciclica<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Somos Bamb\u00fa<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Pasionaria<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Noss <\/span><\/a>and <\/span>Artelanas<\/span><\/a>. Moreover, the following scholarships were awarded: 60% scholarship for <\/span>Elipa<\/span><\/a>, a full scholarship for the Palo Azul exhibition <\/span>Palo Azul exhibition, and<\/span><\/a> another full scholarship for the Hostil<\/span> runway<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
