On August 19, 2024, the <\/span>Universidad Iberoamericana de Puebla<\/span><\/a> hosted <\/span>MOLA Fashion Day<\/span><\/a>, an event dedicated to promoting sustainable fashion and empowering emerging designers in Latin America.<\/span><\/p>\n Adriana Quiroz, director of the Faculty of Architecture and Design of IBERO Puebla, opened the event with a power of speech, highlighting the projects presented and the caeer impact they can have in young people. \"These projects are going to open many doors for them,\" she said, encouraging participants to continue pursuing their dreams.<\/span><\/p>\n Doris Helena Rojas, director of the <\/span>Entre Soles y Lunas Foundation<\/span><\/a>, gave a talk in which she highlighted the importance of recognizing and valuing Latin America's cultural diversity as an inexhaustible source of creativity and innovation. \u201cEven though we are Latinos, we are diverse, but that's where the richness of who we are is,\u201d Rojas said.<\/span><\/p>\n Valentina Su\u00e1rez, Director of the Universo MOLA Program, shared her experience and knowledge on the development of successful business models in the fashion industry, providing attendees with practical tools to boost their undertakings.<\/span><\/p>\n One of the most anticipated moments of the event was the awarding of scholarships, which recognized the talent and dedication of emerging designers. The <\/span>Fabrica de Punto<\/span><\/a> brand won the full scholarship, while Terra obtained a 75% scholarship. Verde Amor, Sof\u00eda Hegel and a group of IBERO students were awarded with half scholarships, which will allow them to continue developing their projects and achieve their professional goals.<\/span><\/p>\n Excitement and hope filled the atmosphere at the conclusion of MOLA Fashion Day Puebla.
